Detox Juice

There are so many different types of detox juices, recipes, and miracle diets on the market, but not all of them are effective or even healthy. The detox diets that come from fruits and veggies are at least healthy and safe, but a doctor or pharmacists should be consulted before starting any new detox diet.
But, because there are so many different juices to try, anyone is free to choose one that they actually enjoy drinking. Not only does this make a detox diet more enjoyable, but it will help keep you focused and on track until the end of the detox period. Any detox that lasts over seven days should probably be researched further – anything more could be dangerous. For a successful detox, solid food consumption should be eliminated, along with toxins like nicotine, alcohol, and caffeine. Your digestive system will be given time to rest and absorb only the nutrients found in the juice.
There are many recipes for detox juice drinks, and most will say to consume no less than sixty-four ounces of the juice per day while on the detox diet. Try the following recipe for a cheap, tasty, and healthy veggie detox drink:
Cucumber, one, skin on
Carrots, three, skin on
Tomatoes, two, skin on
Celery stalks, two, whole
Fresh spinach leaves, half cup
Parsley, one tablespoon
Basil, one tablespoon
Green onions, raw, chopped (OPTIONAL)
Lemons, two, juiced (OPTIONAL)
Process or blend until liquid smooth. Mix before consumption. Store in refrigerator if making ahead of time.
